Obituary for Carrie Marie Corn

Carrie Marie Corn
Carrie Marie Corn (ne: Baisden) passed to the loving arms of God on April 4, 2021 after a brief illness. Carrie, also known as Cacky & Sissy, was born on January 30, 1953 and was 68 years old at the time of her death. She was preceded in death by both her parents, Carrie and Julius Baisden. Her nephews, William Gregory Baisden and Rodney Scott Baisden passed away in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
Carrie is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 40 years, Stephen S. Corn as well as her brother and his wife, William C. and Mary L. Baisden. Carrie also leaves behind her niece, Patricia L Archinal (ne: Baisden) and Great-Niece, Tia L. Lawson.
Throughout her life Carrie was a true giver. She made sure that her family, extended or adopted knew that she loved them and was always there to listen. She was loved and respected by many and will be sorely missed.
Carrie will be cremated, and a graveside service will be held at the Floyd-Adair Cemetery at some point in the future. Please send cards in care of Patricia Archinal, 1223 Normandy Heights Circle, Winter Haven, FL 33880. In lieu of flowers Carrie asks that contributions be made to THE WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT, P.O. BOX 758541, TOPEKA, KS 55575; (877)-832-6997 in Carrie and Steve’s names.
